On Monday, May 1, Ridgeline announced the beginning of their fourth annual scholarship application cycle. Started in 2020, the Ridgeline International STEM Scholarship is awarded to three undergraduate students at U.S. colleges or universities majoring in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
“We are excited to once again extend our support to students pursuing higher education in the STEM fields,” says Dr. Eric Bell, Ridgeline’s Chief Administrative Officer. “At Ridgeline, we believe strongly that our engagement with our community is an essential part of our mission as a company.”
The Ridgeline International STEM Scholarship, which totals $5,000 per recipient, is awarded based on three major factors: a student’s clear passion for their studies, their dedication to making a difference in their community, and a demonstrated drive for innovation. Previous winners have ranged from students in Computer Science and Network Engineering, to Biology and Cyber Defense.
“For the past four years, I’ve been highly impressed with the quality of applicants who have applied for these opportunities,” says CEO, Erik Wittreich. “Not only are these students making academic contributions to their fields of study, but they’re directing that energy and passion back into their communities as well. This confirms for me that our continued investment in the next generation of tech innovators through this scholarship program is time and effort well spent.”
Interest in the scholarship continues to grow, and the organization expects to receive more than 600 applications in the 2023 cycle. To learn more about the Ridgeline International STEM Scholarship, check out the scholarship FAQ section.
